  The Meeker Memorial Hospital Foundation Board
The MMH Foundation Board is made up of citizens from the communities we serve. These dedicated individuals give their time to oversee all Foundation activities, ensuring proper use of funds and maintaining local control at all times.
 
  Maria Balbo

Maria Balbo currently works as an Early Child Special Education Coordinator of Southwest/West Central Education Cooperative in Willmar. Maria resides in rural Litchfield with her family. Maria is currently working on her doctorate at the University of Minnesota in Educational and Administration Program with focus for her dissertation research on autism. Most of her over thirty years experience has been in the area of Early Childhood Special Education.
 
  David Gabrielson

David Gabrielson, Meeker County Commissioner, resides in Litchfield. He worked in third party administration, pension and health care for many years. He has served several terms on the Meeker Memorial Hospital Board of Directors and currently serves as Chairman.
 
  Christopher Hansen

Christopher Hansen was a retail business owner for twenty-eight years in the Dassel area. He currently resides on Lake Stella and has been a lifelong resident of the Darwin area. As a city of Darwin resident, he served as a city council representative and mayor. He has been active on a variety of community boards including Dassel Red Rooster Committee, Meeker County Economic Development Corporation; Dassel Cokato Performing Arts and St. John’s Church Board. He also served as one of the co-chairs for the Meeker Memorial Hospitals Invest in the Future Community Campaign.
 
  Ros Kormanik

Ros Kormanik and her husband own and operate the McDonald’s in Litchfield and Hutchinson and have lived in Litchfield since 1983. She started with McDonald’s in 1972 as a crew person in Dinkytown on the U of M campus. She worked in the Regional Office as a bookkeeper from 1973-1980, and they became owners of the Litchfield McDonald’s in 1983 and Hutchinson McDonald’s in 1988. She is Vice President of the Litchfield Lioness Club, a member of the NuTelcom Advisory Board, on the Care Mobile (40 ft. Mobile Dental Unit) Advisory Board and Marketing Team, and on the Litchfield Chamber Promotion Committee. Currently Ros is a member of Meeker Memorial Hospital “Invest in the Future” Capital Campaign Executive Committee.
 
  Greg Murch

Greg Murch, is retired Senior Vice President of Operations, Sparboe Companies, Litchfield. Greg resides on Lake Minnebelle and has been active in agriculture/poultry industry activities throughout the United States. He is a graduate of University of Wisconsin River Falls; he brings broad experience in corporate development with over thirty years of experience.
 
  George N. Ruhland

George N. Ruhland is a businessman and lives in Eden Valley. George has been involved in community activities in several capacities and has over thirty years of experience as a business owner, manager and developer. He served nine years as a member of the Hospital Board of Directors of Meeker Memorial Hospital with his tenure expiring at the end of 2004.
 
  Michael Boyle

The Meeker Memorial Hospital Foundation was created as a part of the strategic plan approved by the Board of Directors of Meeker County Memorial Hospital in February of 2005. Michael Boyle is the Executive Director. He has thirty six years of experience in healthcare and has served in the past as a member of the MCMH Board of Directors. Boyle has extensive experience in fundraising in areas including program, capital, endowment, grant writing and operations. Most recently, the MMH Invest In the Future campaign reached it's goal of 1.25 million raised towards the MMH Expansion project. A new challenge goal of 1.5 million is near goal with the leadership of Boyle.
