Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase II and III

Cardiac rehabilitation begins as you recover from a heart attack or heart surgery. You may
come from another hospital after your surgery, but once you are home, MMH offers a Phase II
program. Here you can count on caring staff to monitor your exercise and provide education to
you three times a week for 6 to 12 weeks-close to home.
Phase III is the continuation of this
rehabilitation program. Phase III can also be a beginning point if you are at risk for coronary
disease or have another type of heart condition.
Making positive lifestyle changes with your
physical and emotional well-being in mind is the goal of these programs. When you graduate,
you can join others in the Cardiac Support Group.
